Leong holds the James B. Duke Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Pratt School of Engineering of Duke University, at which he also holds a joint appointment in the Department of Surgery of the School of Medicine. The research on new biomaterials for application in neurosciences includes the development of new polymers for the design of alternative vectors to viruses for efficient nucleic acid delivery, the preparation of nerve grafts for spinal cord injury treatment and the design of brain Levonorgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol and Ferrous Bisglycinate Tablets (Balcoltra)- Multum engineered platforms.
